The Association of Women in the Energy Sector in Kosovo (AWESK), in collaboration with USAID’s Sustainable Energy Activity, held a training program on climate change. This initiative aimed to equip AWESK members with knowledge about climate change and enhance their skills to educate and advocate within their communities on the subject. The training covered various aspects of climate change, including global warming and the greenhouse effect, and analyzed their impact on ecosystems, the economy, and the energy sector. Participants were provided with insights into international climate agreements, national policies, and the role of advocacy in promoting concrete actions for climate protection. The program also included a Train-the-Trainer component aimed at equipping participants with advanced skills to effectively train others.
